THE DAUPHIN, REALISED
Welcome to the AS365 N2 Dauphin and HH-65A Dolphin — our most ambitious project yet, and the most complete twin-engine helicopter we've ever built for Microsoft Flight Simulator. From the civilian Dauphin to the U.S. Coast Guard's iconic Dolphin, this is one modular aircraft, faithfully recreated from the rotor head down.
TWO AIRFRAMES,
ONE PACKAGE
At the heart of this add-on are two distinct airframes, faithfully recreated and included together. The AS365 N2 Dauphin is the civilian face of the family — a sleek, fast twin-engine helicopter built by Aérospatiale (later Eurocopter) for passenger transport, VIP charter, offshore work, and search and rescue around the world. The HH-65 Dolphin is its military counterpart, adopted by the United States Coast Guard as a short-range recovery helicopter and a fixture of maritime rescue operations for decades.
Both share the same fundamental design — the same elegant lines, the Fenestron shrouded tail rotor, and the same twin-engine character — but each carries its own cockpit layout, equipment, and mission systems. The Dauphin wears civilian avionics and cabin configurations; the Dolphin adds Coast Guard-specific equipment, the distinctive long-nose radome variants, and the markings of a working rescue aircraft. Together they span the full story of one of the most successful medium helicopters ever flown.

Realistic Helicopter Handling
The flight model is designed to capture the unique character of the Dauphin family: fast cruise performance, precise cyclic response, Fenestron yaw behaviour, translational lift, ground effect, vortex ring state, autorotation behaviour, and the reversed power/pedal relationship compared with many American helicopters. The aircraft rewards smooth control inputs, good power management, and proper use of trim and AFCS.
TESTED for months and vetted BY real life pilots of the as365, we are as close as possible as what the real thing feels like.
ENGINEERED TO THE BLADE
A true four-blade main rotor with independent per-blade flapping animation — a first for MSFS 2024 helicopters. Authentic twin-engine flight dynamics, a full custom AFCS and autopilot modelled from primary Aerand USCG documentation.
Nothing faked, nothing skipped.
Mission Equipment and Operations
Configure the aircraft for a wide range of missions including offshore transport, VIP, EMS, law enforcement, search and rescue, cargo, sling-load and firefighting operations. Optional equipment includes hoist systems, cargo hook support, firefighting capability, emergency floats, searchlight operation and mission-specific configurations.
Hoist, Cargo and Firefighting Support
The aircraft supports hoist operations, cargo release and water drop functionality for compatible mission scenarios. The HH-65A includes dedicated hoist control logic, while both variants provide support for hardware bindings to make rescue, sling-load and firefighting missions more immersive.
Fully compatible with career mode and mmh.
MSFS24 CAREER MODE COMPATIBLE
MILTECH MISSION HUB COMPATIBLEFunctional Systems
The AS365 N2 / HH-65A has been built with a practical level of system simulation designed for real cockpit workflows in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.
Both variants include functional electrical, fuel, hydraulic, engine, rotor, warning, lighting and mission systems. The AS365 N2 features battery contactors, generators, inverters, fuel pumps, transfer logic and the AP155 / CDV 85 autopilot-coupler system. The HH-65A adds its own AC/DC electrical architecture with alternators, starter/generators, bus-tie logic, avionics buses, emergency transformer-rectifier power and the four-axis AFCS / FDS-255 flight director system.
Fuel and engine management are also variant-specific, with modeled fuel transfer, crossfeed or jettison functions where applicable, engine start logic, rotor brake behaviour, FFCL/throttle detents, temperature monitoring and normal governed rotor operation.
Mission systems are included for SAR, utility and special operations, including hoist control, cargo release, firefighting water release, emergency flotation, searchlight support and configurable external equipment through the in-cockpit tPad.
Interactive tPad
The in-cockpit tPad gives quick access to aircraft options, cockpit configuration, exterior equipment, attachments, gameplay settings, weight and balance, autopilot options, documentation and user guides. It acts as the central interface for configuring the aircraft without leaving the cockpit.
A dedicated keybinding system is included for pilots using joysticks, throttles, collectives, panels, Stream Decks or home cockpit hardware. Custom AS65 bindings cover flight controls, trim, AFCS functions, hoist, cargo release, water release, lights, starters, rotor brake, landing gear and other important aircraft functions.
Custom Keybinding Support
55+ Liveries Included
The package includes 55+ liveries from operators all around the world, covering a wide range of civil, military, government, law-enforcement, SAR, EMS, offshore, utility and special-mission configurations. From clean executive Dauphins to hard-working rescue and patrol aircraft, the included liveries give you plenty of variety for every type of operation.
